Tarcoola

Tarcoola Gold Pty Ltd engaged Exact Contracting Services for drill & blast, load and haul and ore haulage functions, together with other civil works for the Tarcoola Project located in central South Australia, approximately 750km from Adelaide.

The project consisted of two open pits, with ore that was transported to the nearby Challenger Gold Mine for processing.

The project comprised of the following components:

• Pre-strip of the pits
• Construction and maintenance of haul roads
• Drill & blast
• Load & haul
• ROM pad Management
• Transport of ROM ore to Challenger Gold Mine;
• Construction of a water supply borefield to supply raw water;
• Construct access and internal roads
• Associated support infrastructure.
